TNA Bound for Glory 2008 was one event that every TNA fan out there wanted to see. All seemed interesting thanks to the names involved and potential was high. Unfortunately this year was not great for TNA and fans do criticize a lot about how everything is going. Let us only talk about the pay per view though.
TNA Bound for Glory 2008 is one event that was well built but we do think it could have been better. First of, the asylum match was not really great. We did see Jay Lethal win it and this means he becomes the number one contender for a title that he did wear prowd. Now the X division championship match was the one that offered the least in TNA Bound for Glory 2008 (except for maybe the match with the Beautiful People). Unfortunately the feud might steel continue because Sheik won. That is highly overrated and should not be a part of a wrestling ring.
Next on our Bound for Glory 2008 review list stands the Monster’s Ball wrestling match for the tag team titles. LAX stepped up as the most impressive wrestling team in the match. Team 3D brought back the flaming tables of the Monster’s Ball and put Abyss through one. The move was pretty impressive and Matt Morgan also performed very well. Beer Money Inc. retained the titles but only after Team 3D put Hernandez through a table that was covered with tacs. The Monster’s Ball match did end in a way that could not have been foreseen. Congratulations to everyone involved in that match.
Kurt versus Jarrett was the best match from many point of views. Both wrestlers performed very well and we saw Jeff coming back to the ring with quite a bang. He won only after Mick Foley got involved but the match itself was very good. Then we also got to see icon wrestler Sting taking on Samoa Joe for the title. This was again a match that was better than expected and Sting won again at Bound for Glory. We got to see one unexpected interference in Kevin Nash. Sting is now the World Champion in TNA and the pay per view was better than we thought it would be.
