billiard game

The billiard game was invented long ago, but it was not played the same then as it is now. The game gradually picked up new moves, techniques and rules as it traveled through the decades and into the present. One such move is the bankshot, which is when a player uses the banks of a billiards table to deflect the travel path of the cue ball, and make a better shot. Thus, the name of the move; “bankshot.” A new, billiards software game was introduced a few years ago called Bankshot Billiards.

The Bankshot Billiards game was developed and launched by PixelStorm on November 22, 2005. The game basically offers a few billiard game choices, such as Euro 8 Ball, 8 Ball, 9 Ball, 3 Ball, Cutthroat, 14.1 Continuous, Time Trial and Golf. Though golf is not a billiards game, it somehow matches with the rest of the contents. In this billiard pool game, multi players can take part, excluding the computer. It has crisp graphics and user friendly controls that can be mastered within half an hour of “hands on playing.” Two players can also play as opponents on the same console while using Xbox live.

The Bankshot Billiards game is the answer for millions of billiard game fans all over the world who would like to play the game whenever they get a little free time, right on their laptops or PCs. While some people find the game brilliant and easy to grasp, other have stated that it is a little boring. The mixed response might be due the fact that a game of billiards can be pretty consuming when played on computer, yet when played live, it is most relaxing.

The PixelStorm product is indeed a good game. However, the reviews are mixed on the Bankshot Billiards game. It would suffice to say that the game has been designed in such a way that anyone can master it within days. This is for some a great advantage while for others it is a detriment in terms of the challenges it provides to players.
