It’s the games that make Nintendo Wii a hit among its loyal consumers.  And when it comes to racing games, who else would bag the top spot but everyone’s favorite Nintendo character – Super Mario.

Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii is one of the most popular Wii racing games to be released.  Many people find it fun and addictive, and that simply one round wouldn’t be enough.  The list of characters is commendable, with new characters you can unlock.  On the other hand though, some items are too powerful, such as the blue shell.  The graphics is also not that good, especially when you switch to split screen.  

But what makes Mario Kart Wii a favorite among racing fanatics?  With its flexible controls, polished gameplay, and loveable all star characters, Mario Kart Wii will surely deliver one of the best racing experiences ever.

Excite Truck

Next in the list is Monster Games’ Excite Truck.  If you want to get your adrenaline rush going, then this is the racing game for you.  Imagine being able to shoot a 2-ton 4×4 into the air and landing it without a scratch, or going through a mountain stream to cool your overheating engine, and surely you’ll realize this game isn’t all for realism.  But it does serve its purpose – it gets your racing blood running.  And even with its flaws on the multiplayer function and presentation, Excite Truck is an enjoyable game when played solo.  

Speed Racer Wii

Just as in the movie, everything is set fast paced and exhilarating, so you’re sure to get your racing fix with Speed Racer Wii.  Expect to be racing along tracks with dangerous loops, ramps, corkscrews, and sharp turns.  And since everything is fast moving, you’ll need more than just skill.  You may also assist or be assisted by other drivers who can attack other cars, or what we call “car-fu.”
